Elimination of Dyes in Anodizing Process

Colouring of alumina is a standard process in anodizing. Focus of applications turns more and more to coloured facings of buildings in fairy looks. Under environmentals aspects these dyes are a problem, because always more stabile and resistent structures and formulas are developed.

In this point the Enviolet UV-Oxidation is a perfect solution. In shortest time and with low energy demand the chromophoric structures are destroyd and the dyes are eliminated from rinsing and/or waste water. Nearly all cases show the possibility to recover the leached water for the rinsing process. The profitability of the production process will be improved significantly.

Treatment of Crack-Detection Waste Water

waste water from crack-detection testing contain not only strong dyes which can be detected even in traces, but also contain test oils on the base of hydrocarbons.Therfore these waste waters need to be treated. By new rules these oils have to have to be bio-available, and that leads to big problems with the standard technologies like activated carbon or membrane filtration by bio-fouling. Our process not only eliminates the dyes, but also destroys the COD, so that a simple waste water free of contaminations like hydrocarbons results.
