Watts' Ni-Bathes can be used with minimal reject and maximum availability, as all  bad organic are permanently under control. The high plating quality opens new applications and extends the bath life time. By this production costs are reduced. All resources normally drained with the rinse water are recycled into the plating solution. So disposal costs are reduced and at the same time the raw material efficiency is increased.

Also without recycling of the rinse water into the plating process the elimination of the organic by-products leads to a permanently best working electrolyte with highest performance and lowest reject.

Another advantage is to use the treated Bright-Nickelbath also as Electrolyte for semi-bright, dull or satin Ni as all Brighteners can be eliminated also. The excess from Bright-Nickel can be used at best in that application, and safes money twice:

1. No waste water treatment causing costs for disposing recources.

2. 100% of the recouces are used inhouse at best quality without paying for that resources again.

Recycling of Acid Copper Electrolytes

Our UV-technology offers a wirde range of possibilities in the field of acid Copper electrolytes from DC-plating (GMF and electronics) to pulse plating (pattern, panel, via filling, thick boards). The simplest method is treating the bathes only to eliminate the bad organic by-products formed in the plating process. This supports a permanent high-grade plating process. Futher potential offers the UV-Evaporatior with integrated rinse water-Recycling. Here depending on the design the whole rinsew water or only a part od it can be brought back into the production process without causing cost in waste water treatment.

Bay all these processes the plating quality can be maintained at 100% by the elimination of the organic by products. The availability of the plating process is highest at lowest reject at significantly lower production costs, and in the case of rinse water recycling also cost for waste is reduced.

Germ Control of TSAA-Bathes

TSAA-Bathes contain chelates being bioavailable. Therefore germs, especially fungy can establish themselves in the process solution if no germ control exists. Drag-out into the rinsing process cand lead to exponetial groth, as the lower osmitic pressure gives better conditions for micro organisms. We solve this probelm by cmbining bath cooling and UV-disinvection ind our UV-evaporator.

Principle of Electrolyte Recycling

The UV-Evaporator recycles new and virgin bath out of the spent electrolyte and rinse water. During oxidation of the contaminants reaction Enthalpy is formed which we use for the economic production of a pure concentrate (= new electrolyte) and distillate (= pure rinse water). The distillate is used as rinse water and the concentrate is a bath solution where only the organic additives have to be made up before use.
This technology up to now is applied in all types of Watts’ Nickel and acid Copper plating applications.
